I am a Scottish born visual artist currently in my final year of studying Communication Design at the Glasgow School of Art. I like to produce art that creates wonderment and a magical sense of the world. My work draws influence from my past studies in Geology and Environmental Studies where I obtained a BSc (Hons) and MEnvS, respectively. I like to focus on environmental issues such as plastic and light pollution while instilling a feeling of hope. I explore the use of analogue mediums such as film photography and cyanotypes and enjoy combining these traditional techniques with digital ones to create more unique pieces of work. One of my recent works includes a short documentary film ‘A Spoonful of Chat’ which was a collaborative project with artist and curator Fan Zhao and the  Wednesday Women’s Group at Milk Cafe, offering a behind the scenes insight into ‘The New Scots Cookbook.’ In ‘A Spoonful of Chat’, I attempted to convey the human side of the wonderful strong women from various parts of the world who help to enlighten and empower each other.
